Labour and Wait | 85 Redchurch St, Shoreditch, London E2 7DJ | https://www.labourandwait.co.uk/

This independent store is renowned for its simple and functional products with a distinctive aesthetic based on Redchurch Street. Their range includes contemporary and traditional items curated to appeal to anyone, from a Japanese kettle to tool bags.

"Our shop promotes everyday objects which are timeless, well made and built to last. We are always inspired by the Japanese appreciation of function and quality. Consumers are very aware of the history and provenance of products. Everyday Japanese tools are a fascination for us, in their seemingly effortless fusion of utility and beauty. We were very excited to open a shop in Sendagaya, Tokyo, where classic everyday objects from the West are sold to these discerning customers.
